A. Dex Dunavant DDS MAGD

Dr. Dunavant is an Alabama native and the son of a retired dentist. He graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry with honors in 1984. He completed a General Practice Residency at the Naval Hospital, San Diego, California in 1985 and practiced general dentistry in the U.S. Navy until 1991. He has given presentations on various topics to the California, Hawaii and Tennessee Dental Associations. He was Infection Control officer at his last two commands. He has been awarded Master Academy of General Dentistry and Fellow International Congress of Oral Impantologist and is a member of the American Dental Association.

Samantha is our business administrator for Facio-Aesthetic & Implant Dentistry. She will assist you with registration, scheduling and financial considerations.

Tina is our chair-side assistant.  She will assist you with scheduling and can answer most questions about your procedures before and after treatment.  She not only lends two extra valuable hands during treatment to assure that your treatment is comfortable, safe and efficient enough to be finished on schedule; she also manages the cleanliness of our operating rooms and sterilization of all our instruments.  Ask her about infection control... if you can catch her.
